About This Blog Trying to find Sarah? Come to this blog to figure out where I'm going to be. And yeah, people actually do ask... About Me Name: Sarah Age: 24 Residence: Columbus, OH Religion: LDS Job: Looking! College: Ohio State University Major: Political Science High School: Home Educated Hobbies: Reading, standing in line for things, writing, research Resume:Jobs.Net Email: lloannna@gmail.com Message Services (please see the notes below the Comment Policy before sending me a message) AIM: lloannna ICQ: 29395930 Yahoo: lloannna Notes: It may be difficult at times, if not impossible, to understand what I mean when I say things. Especially if you look through the archives. At some point soon I'll post a revised list of acronyms and terms from my time at Disneyland. In the meanwhile, the only difficulty you're likely to have is that I sometimes express time in 24-hour form (0100 or 2500 = 1:00AM, 1200 = 12 noon, 2930 = 9:30PM). If the (first two digits of the) number is (are) greater than 12, subtract 12 from it and add "PM" after it to get the right time. If the number is STILL greater than 12, subtract 12 again, and change the "PM" to "AM." If the number is under 12, just add "AM." I may not end out being at a place or available online at the times I think I will be. This blog is primarily meant for my family and friends, who are spread across three continents, half a dozen states and provinces, and at least seven different time zones. Which reminds me to tell you that all times are set to Columbus, Ohio time (EST or EDT), except for those dated before 30 July 2004 (those are PST or PDT). So if you're in California and you're looking for me and it says I'll be online at, say, 2300/11pm, that means 8pm for you. Occasion already passed! Please direct all comments to either the Eleventh In Line blog, or email me. A Note About Chatting and Emails I'm not what you would call an extremely social or extraverted person. As a matter of fact, I tend to test 100% introvert on Myer-Briggs and other personality profile tests. Therefore, please be aware that most of the time, if I don't already know you (either in person or through weeks/months/years of email contact) the chances are I won't be very talkative if you IM me. I like having a long time to consider what I say, and that goes double for what I say to total strangers. Please don't think me scary, rude, hateful, or even just someone in a perpetual bad mood, if chat efforts are unsuccessful. Quite frankly, it's probably better for you to go find someone else to chat with, unless you have something significant to say. And if it's that important, you should probably email me. Which reminds me to let you know now that if you do choose to email me, it might be days, weeks, months, years, or never before I email you back. It takes a lot of energy for me to come up with replies to random inquiries from strangers, and most of the time there's something I'd rather be doing instead. Your understanding is appreciated. I'm not saying don't try, I'm just saying -- have minimal expectations, okay? Thanks. Oh, and if you DO know me, don't treat this statement as an excellent excuse not to talk to me. You know who you are. ![]() |

So far, all I have for the week ending with May 3rd (Saturday) is a shift on Monday, April 28th. From 3:15 until 7:30pm, I'll be in the funky camera booth across from "It's a Small World." Then I'll be at the Golden Horseshoe, enjoying time with fellow Flashback alumni, until late. . ![]() Saturday, April 12, 2003
Okay, the new schedule came out tonight. This one is for the week ending April 26th (Saturday)... 20 April (Sunday) -- no plans so far, I might actually have a chance at going to church of all places. 21 April (Monday) -- 1645-2200 at the Gag Factory in Toontown, as a Hat Writer. This will be my very first regularly scheduled shift as a Hat Writer. 22 April (Tuesday) -- 1200-1730 at the Star Trader in Tomorrowland. 23 April (Wednesday) -- 1645-2200 at the Gag Factory in Toontown as a Hat Writer. 24 April (Thursday) -- 1630-2414 at the Hatmosphere in Tomorrowland as a Hat Writer. 25 April (Friday) -- 2000-2400 at the Star Trader in Tomorrowland. 26 April (Saturday) -- no plans at this time. I'll probably try and catch a ride on the Pirates of the Carribean, which is going down on the 28th. . ![]() Tuesday, April 08, 2003
So, you want to find me. That's easy enough, just check the SarahFinder. Yeah, I know. Don't get me started. It's just easier doing this than cross-posting everywhere, okay? A few basic reminders: my cell phone stays off while I'm onstage and working at Disneyland, when I'm at the movies, when I'm in class, etc. Unless I say it's going to be on, it won't be. This post is for the weeks ending April 13th and 20th (Sunday): 8 April (Tuesday) -- 1600-2200 shift at the Star Trader has been CANCELLED. I'll be at home until around 4pm, then at the movies. My cell phone will be off. 9 April (Wednesday) -- CHANGE OF PLANS! I got a shift for today, at Owl Photo (the Splash Mountain photo purchase location, across from Pooh Corner), 845-1715. My cell phone will be off. 10 April (Thursday) -- CHANGE OF PLANS! I decided to push my final exam to May 7th, and picked up a shift! 830-1700 at the Premier Shop in Tomorrowland. Pins, people, PINS! 11 April (Friday) -- no plans at this time. Likely to be online. Might come and catch the first night of Spring Break fireworks (fireworks are apparently scheduled every day from now until the 27th!) My cell phone will be on. 12 April (Saturday) -- 915-1330 shift as a bag checker at the Disneyland Main Entrance. Look for me in the generic costume for the entrances... 13 April (Sunday) -- 1200-1730 shift at the Star Trader (Tomorrowland). Look for me in the hideous costume. Afterwards I'll likely play in the parks, probably catch the fireworks and maybe even the Electrical Parade. My cell phone will be on after 6pm. 14 April (Monday) -- 1800-2600 shift at the Star Trader (Tomorrowland). Same hideous costume. I might come and play in the parks early on Monday, but seeing as how I'll be working for three hours after park closing, it's sort of unlikely. 15 April (Tuesday) -- CHANGE OF PLANS! I just picked up (this is on Wednesday the 9th) a shift for the Mad Hatter in Fantasyland, 1600-2230. Look for me in the floral print skirt and usual Fantasyland gear, between Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and Alice In Wonderland/the Teacups. 16 April (Wednesday) -- 1530-2330 shift at... the Star Trader (sob). Probably won't be playing in the park today unless someone sets something up. 17 April (Thursday) -- no plans at this time. Likely to be at home online. My cell phone will be on. 18 April (Friday) -- ditto. 19 April (Saturday) -- CHANGE OF PLANS! Now I'm working from 1630 to 0100 in the Mad Hatter in Fantasyland. Come buy a hat. 20 April (Sunday) -- no plans yet; the schedule doesn't come out until this Friday. . ![]() Because only so many people can be eleventh in line. |
