About This Blog Trying to find Sarah? Come to this blog to figure out where I'm going to be. And yeah, people actually do ask... About Me Name: Sarah Age: 24 Residence: Columbus, OH Religion: LDS Job: Looking! College: Ohio State University Major: Political Science High School: Home Educated Hobbies: Reading, standing in line for things, writing, research Resume:Jobs.Net Email: lloannna@gmail.com Message Services (please see the notes below the Comment Policy before sending me a message) AIM: lloannna ICQ: 29395930 Yahoo: lloannna Notes: It may be difficult at times, if not impossible, to understand what I mean when I say things. Especially if you look through the archives. At some point soon I'll post a revised list of acronyms and terms from my time at Disneyland. In the meanwhile, the only difficulty you're likely to have is that I sometimes express time in 24-hour form (0100 or 2500 = 1:00AM, 1200 = 12 noon, 2930 = 9:30PM). If the (first two digits of the) number is (are) greater than 12, subtract 12 from it and add "PM" after it to get the right time. If the number is STILL greater than 12, subtract 12 again, and change the "PM" to "AM." If the number is under 12, just add "AM." I may not end out being at a place or available online at the times I think I will be. This blog is primarily meant for my family and friends, who are spread across three continents, half a dozen states and provinces, and at least seven different time zones. Which reminds me to tell you that all times are set to Columbus, Ohio time (EST or EDT), except for those dated before 30 July 2004 (those are PST or PDT). So if you're in California and you're looking for me and it says I'll be online at, say, 2300/11pm, that means 8pm for you. Please direct all comments to either the Eleventh In Line blog, or email me. A Note About Chatting and Emails I'm not what you would call an extremely social or extraverted person. As a matter of fact, I tend to test 100% introvert on Myer-Briggs and other personality profile tests. Therefore, please be aware that most of the time, if I don't already know you (either in person or through weeks/months/years of email contact) the chances are I won't be very talkative if you IM me. I like having a long time to consider what I say, and that goes double for what I say to total strangers. Please don't think me scary, rude, hateful, or even just someone in a perpetual bad mood, if chat efforts are unsuccessful. Quite frankly, it's probably better for you to go find someone else to chat with, unless you have something significant to say. And if it's that important, you should probably email me. Which reminds me to let you know now that if you do choose to email me, it might be days, weeks, months, years, or never before I email you back. It takes a lot of energy for me to come up with replies to random inquiries from strangers, and most of the time there's something I'd rather be doing instead. Your understanding is appreciated. I'm not saying don't try, I'm just saying -- have minimal expectations, okay? Thanks. Oh, and if you DO know me, don't treat this statement as an excellent excuse not to talk to me. You know who you are. |

NEW SCHEDULE, MUCH BETTER HOURS So, begging and pleading with Kathy, may she schedule forever, will probably ensure I don't have to do any more five in the morning nonsense. In the meantime, it looks like she didn't want me doing any of that this upcoming week, anyway. The new schedule looks like this: 11 April (Sunday) -- 0930-1800/Pioneer HW 12 April (Monday) -- 0930-1800/Adventureland RN 13 April (Tuesday) -- 0800-1630/Emporim RN (Main Street??? Whoa...) 15 April (Thursday) -- 0930-1800/Adventureland RN 16 April (Friday) -- 0930-1800/Critter Country RN 17 April (Saturday) -- 1330-2130/Critter Country RN Yeah, I know. Another hat writing shift (on the West Side, no less -- there's only two or three of those per day, amazingly enough; I don't know if that means there really is an Almighty Power who looks after me, if those blood sacrifices I promised Kathy are coming due, or if someone with MUCH higher senority than me (actually, a bunch of someones) requested a day off that day. And, a Main Street runner shift (a morning one, which means that whole seniority thing is really starting to pay off, sort of -- I hate mornings, but they mean you have more seniority, so... ummm... actually, it's not really paying off, I just know I have it, and that it's the cause of my suffering...) I'm pretty sure the Main Street thing means that the demise of landlocking is nigh, in any event. Now go forth and try to arrange to talk with me, based on this information. I wish you all luck. . Because only so many people can be eleventh in line. |
